AS a PV coordinator you will be the key linkage between the partners, specifically the organization, the Tanzania Food and Drug Authority (TFOA), GSF KCMC/KCRI, the National TB program and the sites collecting PV data.

Duties and responsibilities

• Ensure smooth collaboration between all partners by organizing regular joint meetings. ·
• Update all partners in-country about the latest developments in the field of aDSM / PV relevant for their roles in the project. ·
• Assist in strengthening aDSM / PV data collection system in-country, including support in the development of a road map to strengthen the PV system. ·
• Facilitate trainings, and development or strengthening of aDSM /PV data collection plans and SOPs. ·
• Monitor and ‘supervise the data flow, and quality and completeness of data collection and reporting. ·
• Assist in causality assessment and signal detection.

Who are we looking for;

• Education University degree in Pharmacy, Pharmacology or Medicine (Masters Degree in related fields relevant to this position will be an added advantage)

. Knowledge and Experience ·

• At least 5 years drug regulatory experience, preferably in pharmacovigilance; or experience in drug monitoring in public health programs ·
• Proactive, able to coordinate with clinicians, clinical expert teams, including national and sub-national host government entities appropriately. ·
• Cutting-edge knowledge of ongoing and emerging issues in relation to pharmacovigilance and TB medicines ·
• Excellent interpersonal skills ·
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in English ·
• Good computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office programs. ·
• Excellent organizational, planning, negotiating and problem-solving skills.
